Each weeknight at 7:30 pm, churches and volunteer groups conduct a gospel service in the Mission’s chapel. This program may consist of Biblical teaching, a musical concert, a gospel film, a dramatic presentation or congregational singing.
These services are intended for the spiritual growth of both our long-term residents and transient guests. Though there is no prerequisite for a person to get a meal, an individual must be present for a chapel service in order to get a bed for that night.
The chapel service schedule is filled by groups who come on a monthly basis, but if you or your group would like to be considered for a service in the future, please contact Rich Callahan at rcallahan@nycrescue.org.
